Damn, didn’t even let the glow plugs warm up . #peakbro #bro whatareglowplugs

Full disclosure I have not driven a modern diesel in at least  half a decade but I would think that glowplugs still need some pre-ignition love. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Gonna assume that’s as much as he’s ever hauled in the bed of that thing.

I’m not sure about truck diesels, but my MK6 TDI will start right away in the summer.

Those hydraulics would be very useful for helping to load/unload motorcycles

I don't have to use the glow plug on my boat diesel. In fact, until I read your post, and then checked the internet, I didn't even know my engine has a glow plug. So thanks! That said, even in 20 degree weather I've never had it not start.

That may be the soy heist thing I’ve seen all day.

From a technical standpoint, the ability to do that is pretty cool, though. I’ve always wondered how people get in trucks that big

Or....you know...he could have not uselessly lifted his truck and added useless gizmos for the sake of looking cool...

I'm just imagining his luggage sliding around and scuffing that pristine bed of his. First world problems man.

soy heist

I’m sure that’s just  autocorrect at work, but it’s a delightfully weird slam.

That truck is the male version of stilettos.

It literally let me go on without changing it  before autocorrecting. That was supposed to say doucheist. I kinda like my new incredibly rare insult, though.

I was guessing it was supposed to be “ sorriest” , but “ douchiest” is far more accurate.

Autocorrect on my phone should have learned by now that I never intend to type “duck”.

My diesel John Deere does not require warm up but all of the road going Ford and GM diesels that I’ve had the chance to operate needed it. I’m certainly interested in someone shining a light on what make the difference with diesels.
